Would anyone like a one card tarot reading ( for fun )

I got my cards out earlier this week and didn't get around to putting them away.

So would anyone like a one card reading? If you believe in such things it will be snapshot hint about a next step, or towards an answer ( or give you the question you need) however I'm just a pseudonym on the internet so don't go making huge life choices based on a random card!

I can do either Tarot cards or Archangel cards. If you don't specify I'll do the one next to me at the time.

I can do a few tonight, and more tomorrow, but if there are other card readers who want to join in please feel welcome to do so.

I quite often feel I need guidance from somewhere... the angel cards sound really interesting.

I've never had anyone read cards for me, I would love a reading. The Archangel cards would be great, I've never heard of them before but they somehow sound reassuring.....

I quite often feel I need guidance from somewhere... the angel cards sound really interesting.

I think anyone (who is interested - lots and lots aren't) can develop their sense of 'woo'. For me it's always been hunches and sometimes they come with a sense of clarity. I started doing a woo hobby a year, more so I had some knowledge when talking to other people with that interest. Learning tarot - didn't really take, palm reading - It was interesting and I got some uncanny things right about people. Then I started on crystals and after a year I was still fascinated (still am) so I took a 2 year diploma never underdo a hobby about 18 years ago.

On the first day I wondered what the hell I was doing there. I like pretty geology and healing stuff was interesting (I was an operating theatre nurse) but really? Energy healing? But of course things clicked and I had to admit that there was more to this whole thing that I'd expected.

My hunches got stronger with practice and of course I do believe in 'stuff' now. When I went back to look at tarot cards and palm reading I seemed to be better able to pick and translate cards. I think there is a way to read the current moment in time in such a way that short term hints about the immediate future can be picked up. I'm not great at long term stuff and mapping out a future, there's too many options for personal choice, but looking at a next step is possible. There are many ways of tapping into that energy and translating it. Tarot cards are one of them.

I've done loads over the last 2 days. They're not all going to be right even if you believe this is all true, and from one perspective it's just a pack of cards and some advice is almost universal. It might be that you don't need a hint right now.

Getting a pack of cards isn't a bad idea. They are small and not overly expensive as a one off. Sometimes I pick a card to help me decide what my focus should be for the day, or if something is bothering me look for a hint about what's behind it.

And as I said at the beginning of the thread. This is just for fun. If it resonates you still should carefully consider the options and not act on the basis of any of this.

I got the peace card. The reading really resonated. I know it's only for fun.

I've got a lot going on and a lot of decisions to make.

One of which is if we want another child or not.

I've had approximately 7-8 years of being stuck in the baby years. We've tried for a couple of years but not really got anywhere with the baby- making.

It's a major decision especially as the youngest has just turned 4 now and I seem to be finally out of baby years. I'll finally get some much needed time to myself when the youngest starts full time school next year, finally some freedom from nappies and broken sleep- or do we start again?

A lot to ponder on.

Thanks for the reply @elfycat. It does sound so interesting and something I'd like to try. My friend is quite spiritual and it really interests me. But maybe I'm just looking for something, for reassurance. It's been quite a few years.

Had an horrendous 5 years (new disability, 4 close family deaths out of a family of 7 plus other stuff) and would love to know if I need to keep my hard hat on and batten down the hatches or expect some lovely life enhancing change. Things haven't gone the way you wanted (clearly from the above) with loss and regret having been present. It would be easy to focus on what has gone wrong and what has failed, but that is letting the past inform your present life and being stuck.

You must decide to move forward. Take the lessons you have learned. You are stronger than you know.

If someone has disappointed you it would be beneficial to you to forgive them and check one more thing off things on your mind. Things will improve but you have to be ready to allow it.

My day became unexpectedly booked with a child off sick (we had Covid 3 weeks ago and she just looked knackered today) and also ended up doing emergency childcare for a friend which will go on for the rest of the week. Then my boiler decided to have a break from heating water... I should have pulled some cards to see my own future Grin

I was all set to go at 1030 this morning. Will keep going through the next few pages (on pg 8 now) but will be much slower.

The focus is on financial matters. You are able to make wise decisions that will provide stability. This is based on hard work and study and you should trust this ability. If you have a business venture in mind now is a great time to make plans and put them into action.

You can be a generous person, both with resources, and also expertise and time. You also know when to stop helping, and pick the time when the other person should be self-sufficient to prevent dependency. The other person might argue for more help, but trust yourself to know when the time has come for you to withdraw aid.

You need to leave the old and stale behind and move towards the new. You shouldn't procrastinate now on the changes you know in your heart you need to make.

Change is needed to grow and evolve. Embrace this new direction and find the excitement. You don;t have to go through this alone, ask for help and you will find it.
