The title probably says it all really! I’d love some recommendations for Christian books - books about Christianity, biographies or autobiographies of Christians, fiction books with a Christian theme, etc.

I’m not at all well read so I doubt my recommendations will be new to anyone, but I really enjoyed ‘The Hiding Place’ and ‘In My Father’s House’ by Corrie ten Boom, and also ‘Mere Christianity’ by C.S. Lewis.

Eternal life by Steve Cox- great read. If there is a church Christian bookshop near you, feel free to just go in and see what is available. Alternatively look online or at your local library/bookshop to see if you can find anything suitable.

Lots of my favourites mentioned above. I would also add:

Hinds Feet on High Places - Hannah Hurnard
Free of Charge - Miroslav Volf
Discipleship - David Watson
And somewhat surprisingly Trapp Family Singers - Maria von Trapp

And has anyone else read 'Kisses from Katie' by Katie Davis? I just discovered it and found it very challenging - in a good way.

I second all Nick Paige's books. Just wonderful.

How to pray by Pete Greig
A Lineage of Grace by Francine Rivers
Sensible Shoes by Sharon Garlough Brown
Mere Christianity by C.S Lewis
Anything by Elaine Storkey, Paula Hooded, Amy Orr Ewing - wonderful female theologians.
Tim Keller is very good for apologetics.

I'm a Christian author so know the world well if you want any more specific suggestions.
