Hello
I'm not sure if they currently have midweek activities as lots of churches are only just getting back to normal after covid
But I hear this church recommended

Also St Peters in West Blatchington will usually have children's activities including Messy Church and comes recommended

Some may have a "crib service" for young children and parents/ carers midweek, or messy church. Also church toddler groups may do a bible story and some songs which might let you try it out. Also the leaders would be able to answer any questions you had about the church. I hope you find somewhere, don't be put off if the first place you try doesn't suit.

The Church of England has a website called A Church Near You to find your local church, and most will have some published service days/times on their website or Facebook

I know at my church there is an act of worship everyday at 12, shorter than a Sunday service, I take my 3 year old
