Unitarian faith

I am interested in exploring my spiritual beliefs, and after looking at the Unitarian website - I think trying a service could be helpful to me.

Are there any Unitarians out there, and how do your beliefs help you? I have recently lost my Dad and wish to make sense of my beliefs in a caring community Sad

I just read this, I know it's a while since you posted but I can help you find a congregation nearby if you're interested, sending love for your loss Xx

I think the main thing for me about being a Unitarian is the openness to inspiration and guidance for living from many different sources. Then support in the feeling of community with likeminded liberal thinkers.

I feel the same, the Unitarian movement is a place of open minded and loving people. OP, there is congregation map on unitarian.org.uk and you can find links to online worship (open to anyone, and especially good if you can't find a local congregation) on the website and on Facebook. Have a look on Facebook at Heart and Soul, at events run by the Unitarian Transformers, at the Unitarian Christian Association online services and at the many congregations that now have zoom services or streamed services every week. Good luck in your journey OP and I hope you are finding a way through your difficult time, many unmumsnetty hugs from here xxx
