Good luck charms / crystals / ornaments etc. Do they exist? Where can I get them?

I want to buy some pretty ornament or something that is blessed to bring good luck and wealth for some of my loved ones who have nothing but bad luck in their lives.

Seriously, everything they touch turns to shit. I don't know why.

My sister said to me that if we (me and her) both fell in a barrel of shit, She'd come out of it with dysentry (sp?) and I'd come out of it with prize winning roses!

This was not said in spite by her, just taking the P out of it.

But it's TRUE. I mean, crappy REALLY crappy stuff happens to me, but when I look back, I can see how much I ultimatly benefitted and I say to dh "Thank goodness X happened, who'd have thought it would end up being the best thing?"

But my poor sister, well, she just can't catch a break.

I wondered if it's attitude? She SEES bad, whereas I look for the silver lining? Or if she has some sort of curse....my mum claims our family was cursed by gypsies generations ago!! - no, seriously, she does!

But anyway, I'm waffling. I am hunting for christmas gifts for them and I thought what about something spiritual, good luck, cleansing etc. My mum believes in all that, and at the very least, it's a pretty ornament, right?

Any ideas?

Budget?

I believe alot in Gemstones and their healing qualities.
I actually make gemstone jewellery too and use alot of the "healing" stones.

Stones that bring luck and protection are, Alexandrite, Amber, Garnet (a very strong healing stone) and Onyx.

I suffer with anxiety and I carry a Smoky Quartz stone around with me.

Budget - well, the cheaper the better. (perhaps I should have one too!) I would love to spend no more than £10/£20 each, tbh. Is that even possible?

Can you get ones to bring wealth NBG? Or at least stop the money being drained away on problem after problem!

Cross and chain? or on a leather thong?

Hekate · 26/11/2007 22:10

My sister might like something with leather.

But my mum likes nick-nacks.

How about a figurine or other ornament, made from gemstone? These are good choices, stone wise:

Jade............Bring Luck and Wealth.
Alexandrite.............Gemstone for Luck.
Amazonite..............Break an unlucky streak.
Hemimorphite.........Bring Luck & Charm.
Jade.................Luck & Prosperity.
Moldavite............Bring luck.
Mother-of-Pearl............Bring wealth.

Thank you very much.

Saint George, my eldest had an exam the other day and wore her necklace from you and said this is my lucky necklace made by someone I dont know to help me.

Sometimes it is not just the stone or even the fact something may or may not be lucky just the thought that counts and makes a difference.

Nbg · 27/11/2007 09:22

I would persoanlly recommend Alexandrite for wealth and pretty purposes

Its a gorgeous stone.

Ah gf, bless her.

I still owe you a parcel. I haven't forgotten, just that things are a bit chaotic after the floods. I will do it for you, I promise.
