Priest not interested

I've just come back from meeting our priest to discuss our wedding. We are getting married where I grew up in N. Ireland, so our local parish priest where we live in England has to fill out all the relevant forms. We have a 10 month old daughter who we would also like to be baptised. I'm feeling really gutted as he seemed completely uninterested in us, and I think that he may doubt that 'motives' for getting married. Although not Catholic, I am a Christian and have a strong faith (dp is catholic). We go to mass regularly, not because we feel that we should, but because we want to. Just feeling sad that he was not more welcoming It has really put me off going back for Sunday masses.

well he probably has to deal with several weddings a week, so maybe its difficult for him to be enthusiastic about all of them. was he actually nasty, or anything like that?

He wasn't nasty at all, just not pleasant. It seemed like he wanted to get rid of us asap. I think I've been unlucky with the priests in London I've come across so far, none of them have been very friendly! Any recommendations in the west London area would be greatly appreciated!
