Reading the bible in a year.

Hi.

I used to use this forum a lot several years ago. However we were constantly attacked and I ended up leaving MN.

I'm now back and hoping it's a safer place.

I wondered if any of you would be interested in a fb group , where using a set text we're reading through the bible in a year. We are only 11 days in so easy to catch up.

I'm not here just to promote the group, it's just the later someone joins , the more reading to catch up.

We are just a small group right now either m/f aged 30s-50s and from various places. It's not a group where you must post every day. You do the daily reading.

Then a thread is open Fri-Sun where you can discuss what you've read.

We also have 1 topical thread per week. And a prayer thread.

Hi Torvean. Just being friendly. I find it's been quite quiet on the attacking Christianity front. Certainly on the Christian prayer thread we are left to it and the religion board generally is quiet.

Some "born again" AMA and AIBU attracted ire. I find it best not to argue with atheists online but I do enjoy a religious discussion.

I'm doing a different bible in a year would enjoy a discussion but I'd be out of step with you. Pm me the FB group out of interest.

It's really rewarding doing bible study every day. I don't want to stop next year.

I'm slightly annoyed that you think only progressive Christians are anti racists or pro environment. I'll speak to the members in charge.

It is essentially a bible reading class , not a debate on where we stand so I'm not sure right now..
