Hello, I've been feeling a little lost lately and have been looking for something to turn to, any recommendations please? What have you done when you've felt lost?

Can you tell us a bit more ?

Are you lonely? Bored ?

Have you had a faith in the past ?

I'm not religious and find 'church' hypocritical however I found a local Unitarian meeting house which I love. It's like going to church but their sermons embrace the best bits from all different religions plus some meditation, poems, extracts from historical speeches or books, science, nature and journalism- a bit of everything thrown in. I found spiritually and peace, and my husband learnt to be more tolerant of others. Promotes kindness and community as well as focusing on how to grow to be the best person you can be. My favourite sermons include appreciating new life of spring and therefore the new beginnings and changes to your own life over the Easter period, and also when we learnt about the plight of refugee women.

Hello BackforGood. I do have family but I suppose I am lonely. I feel more like a housekeeper than a wife or mother and I'd like something for me. I was never religious but a relative introduced me to crystals a long time ago but they got sidelined when she died but I've found myself turning back to them lately.

@Ks24 I’ve been looking for something for a while and like you I just can’t do church even though I wish I could.

I have been reading books and listening to podcasts on Ayurveda recently (which is why I cam to this board, to see if anyone is talking about it).

I’m currently Iistening to Yogi Fuel and Simple Ayurveda if you want o give them a try.

It is possible to have a spiritual path without religion. Many of us do.

I’ve found meditation and a more Buddhist approach to life quite helpful in the last couple of years. It seems to offset (for me) all the hate and bigotry that’s going on in the world and allows me to accept my situation…

My DM thinks I’ve gone over to the Dark Side!

ByeByeMissAmericanPie families don't always agree do they.
My mother and sister are conservative Baptists and I am a practicing witch!

Crystals, tarot and astrology can all introduce you to spirituality without the religion and moral judgements.
