Anybody trying out this book in lockdown?

Is anybody trying out this book(or have tried it already)?

The book is Dreaming with the archangels , a spiritual guide to dream journeying by Linda miller Russo and Peter miller Russo

It's a 30 day thing, and each day you read one of the pages, do the visualisation, affirmations etc to program your dreams for that night...there's nights for chakra and aura cleaning/healing, there's nights for problem solving (you program a problem a dream the solution), there's nights for lucid dreaming, nights to receive guidance from subconscious mind, nights for astral travel and so much more ...

I have just got the book😁 im probably going to try it tonight or tomorrow...I was curious if anybody has tried it already and what their experience was

Knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t explore a book of this nature

Venilia · 06/04/2021 22:57

That doesn’t answer OP’s question though does it HmmGrey? I’m guessing your suggestion is something along the lines of everything but your own belief system being the work of the devil or some such alarmist tripe. I don’t know why you bother.
I hope you’re enjoying your book Ilovenutellaaaaa

@Venilia That’s quite the assumption to jump to in response to my comment. Why did prompt a negative response in you?

Venilia · 07/04/2021 11:43

HmmGrey to me, your comment had a flavour of the very damaging evangelical christian dogma I grew up with. That’s what triggered me.

Something about the undertone of ‘stay away from anything that’s not our boss- god’ without further explanation. The need to jump on with a warning tone- to me it is control by fear rather than healthy exploration and discussion. I object to the arrogance of it.

OP was simply asking if anyone else was trying that book in lockdown. What she does with her subconscious is her business and I’m guessing she was hoping to find likeminded discussion. If it’s not your thing then maybe just stay away.

I am, of course making presumptions based on my own experience. If your intention was not to warn OP of some ‘devilish danger’ based on a belief that your god knows best then I stand corrected.

Apologies for bringing this to your thread Ilovenutellaaaaa! I’ll leave it now

XiCi it's brilliant, I was very into dreams before getting the book..so I was happy to find a book like this

Rather than rush through the book I have been taking a few days for each dream incubation to make sure I'm receiving the message in my dream...I have had good results with it...including a few prophetic dreams that warned in advance about some serious issues, and the advance warning and the dream giving guidance was enough to enable me to handle things in a better way than if I hadn't had advance warning...

I've learned from doing this that you will get the answer to what you ask, it may be on the first night or it may take several nights, you have to incubate the same question each day until you get the answer and then move on to the next day in the book..

It is a brilliant book and you can use it to get answers to any question or worries you have, the answers will come while you sleep

Here's a bit of advice though for those who don't remember their dreams and who want to be able to... get into the habit of repeating randomly during the day and at night before sleep the following phrase "next time I sleep I will dream , when I wake up I will fully remember and understand my dreams"....it programs your subconscious mind that you want to remember your dreams , and you will wake up more and more remembering your dreams ....by programming your mind to remember your dreams it will make it much easier to remember the dreams with your special message/answer/guidance in it...
