Spiritual Healing of the past

Hi everyone I hope I have posted in the right section.

I have started my spiritual journey and I have done a little research online but feel I am a bit overwhelmed at where to start m.

I have concluded that I should start with healing areas of my past but I don’t really know how to do it.

I have come across an area of my life that is nudging me consistently and the more I’ve tried to ignore the more it’s nudged so I feel that this area needs a little work to heal before I can move on but I don’t know where to start or what to do to tick it off my list spiritually.

The area is an ex and through various channels has popped up on my social media or come up in conversations between my friends and most recently I stumbled upon some old messages which I felt re opened the wounds as it was a passionate relationship but he left to move country. He is now with someone’s else and has a family, and I have moved on too and have a child. It has been playing on my mind for about a month now and I don’t know how to put it to bed. Can anyone give me any tips or advice please?

The past doesn't exist. Only in your mind does it reveal itself!. You have to discover the root cause of why you're feeling the emotion regarding the past.
Is it a desire? Is it a fear? Is it a regret? Is it guilt?
Once you have discovered that emotion, discover how you got to that emotion through self introspection. Once you discover the root then let it go!

Experiences in life are lessons, they are not life sentences!!

Yes exactly! I don’t want it to be a brick round my neck and there are a few things that I need to do this with.

I’m really new to all of this so I guess it will take some time to figure out but thank you for your response!

Can I ask what you mean by starting your spiritual journey? Smile

Sounds like you need to cut cords and release attachments. Couple of things I can recommend are crystal healing, and working with new moons and full moons. When you realise that life goes in cycles, it can really help with letting things or people go, and welcoming new things in.

A good book to start with is Moonology by Yasmin Boland. It explains how you can set goals and release things, based on your own birth chart. It's really user friendly.
