Any one up for a bit of dream analysis?

I had a dream that I was running naked through forests up hill and down dale and ended up by the sea. I could see lots of twinkling lights and it was breathtakingly beautiful. I felt completely exhilarated and full of life. (I'm nearing 50 and menopausal!Grin)

When I got back it was daylight and I had to hide behind parked cars until my husband could fetch me a coat. The coat he got me was lovely and soft wool but a sickly flesh colour that I thought was a bit ugly but it was very comfortable. And I was glad to cover up! We were outside an ugly block of flats. Inside were some relatives of ours. I saw a picture of them when they were younger and I was touched over how beautiful they looked in the picture.

It was twilight when I was running.

Sounds like your spirit went for a wander then had to cover up with its human body costume

Oh, and I forgot to say, there was a younger relative who was pregnant in the ugly building too,

Here is my amateur bash!

I would say it's a wish-fulfilment dream - you are craving the freedom that we are all denied at the moment, wanting to travel and to be with your friends and family. They were younger in your dream because you're wistfully recalling the past when we could see whoever we wanted, when we wanted.

The ugly building symbolises the restrictions we are under at the moment.

Your pregnant relative shows a desire for a new spring of life and hope.

The coat your husband brought you symbolises your marriage - your husband is caring, so brought you a coat, and it was soft and comfortable showing that you feel contented and loved, and that's more important to you than your husband's looks/appearance, hence it didn't matter that the coat wasn't the most fashionable of colours.

@LApprentiSorcier , aw, that's nice, thanks!Smile Although my husband is gorgeous, of course (as well as very caring!).

Oh, yes, but you'd still love him whatever he looked like - that's what your sleeping brain is telling you Smile .
