Best Bible for children?

I'd like a bulky one, not just a 30 page of Christmas and Easter please which is mostly all I can find

I really like the Big Jesus Storybook Bible.
Or, for older kids, the Adventure Bible

Desmond Tutu's Children of God Bible is beautiful.

What sort of age? There’s quite a variety between the 30pg only Christmas & Easter ones and a copy of the International Children’s Bible.

Lion Children’s Bible is quite popular in schools/churches. I quite like the DK Children’s Bible.

One they can buy themselves.

For older kids the Minecraft Bible is good

My DC had the Dorling Kindersley one 25 years ago. It was lovely - beautifully illustrated and covered all the major stories of both Old and New Testament.

Depends on the age of the child but this one is good

When my DC were younger, I had one which was just pictures, started at Creation and worked it's way through in order, covering the main stories with cartoon like pictures that you could explain to your children as you went.

You needed basis bible knowledge but the pictures took you through the stories.

It was called something like storybook bible.

I have passed it on to a family with toddlers in the church or I would check.

If you want an actual Bible in suitable translation for children then my favourite is the ICB (international children's Bible).
