Seven Point Star?

Probably a really stupid question here, apologies in advance...

DP has an elderly relative who's hugely into paganism and spirituality and things like that, all a bit woo for me but each to their own. He helps her out with some things around the home and as a thank you for 'borrowing him' she sent me a necklace with a 7 point star pendant.

It's really very pretty and I'm keen to wear it, but I know so little about what it represents and don't want to wear something that would either give people an inaccurate impression of me and my beliefs, or worse offend anyone.

Can anyone advise?

"The heptagram was used in Christianity to symbolize the seven days of creation and became a traditional symbol for warding off evil. The symbol is used in some Christian branches such as Catholicism and Orthodox Christianity. The symbol is also used in Kabbalist Judaism." From wikipedia Smile

Could be so many things. I always read it as parts of the chakra/elements

It represents Witchcraft I believe. I would look more into it before wearing it yourself Smile depends if you believe.
