Miraculous medal

I've been going to mass for about a year but am not a Catholic and although my mum was Catholic I wasn't bought up going to mass. I got given a miraculous medal today and I don't know what to do with it. Does anyone have any experiences?

Keep it in your car/ bag/ under your pillow. Who is on the medal?

I had a wierd experience where someone showing me a miraculous medal seemed like a yes answer to the question should I accept Jesus as my personal saviour. The person who asked me about it said that the medal had brought them luck like you wouldn't believe. They looked really baffled by the whole experience as was I.

What circumstances were you given the medal in OP?

I keep mine in my handbag ever since the chain I used to have it on broke. I like to know it's there, especially these days. It's a reminder to ask with confidence for graces needed.
