Dont clean just clean your windows ........

Join us in thinking of purifying our lives, homes etc. What do you use to refresh,cleanse and reinvigorate the spaces you inhabit both spiritualy and practicaly?

Apart from using the machines to clean my clothes, plates and floor I am lax in this department. I am a precise Hausfrau with a sparkling home. But it is not a trash heap so I keep a happy medium of the lived in state kind! I lack more with spiritual window cleaning and painter the fence... wax on wax off (karate kid for those of you who are scratching your head ). So I am happy to be looking at purification now because of a personal experience this week and in relationship to the 8th and 9th insights.

This book that I am reading and that I know Melsy has just bought has a chapter on the spiritual law of purification. The chapter really struck a chord with me. I will be back later.

The aura needs washing just like the body. The aura is like white light. The more we evolve the more our problems arise to bring us challenge and karma lessons.

She says that people are the tool that exposes marks on our auras. We also attract similar vibrational people and must be careful if our vibration is low because of the like attracts like and also increased control dramas.

When I read what you said about applying the 8th insight and seeing a difference then I guess your aura is receiving love and protection. Watching your thoughts and words. Over time it could, using the insight step ladder for spiritual evolution, mean that your vibration will stay on a higher level for longer periods of time.

On the more physical level there are access keys for purification that can be used... fire, earth, air, water. Fire is supposedly the most potent.

I am quite interested in the mediating more aspect to purification and last nite did some mediatation and visualisation and was getting alot of wot I would call electrical feedback. I get alot of noises cracking around me which is like help when thinking about ideas or a path process. At the time when it started, I realised the time was 1.11 so did a mantra and mediated.

yes Paps am think ing of starting a meditation course so that I cna learn to do it properly then evolve my own way of doing it. My real problem is my tendency to rush into my mind and fill it full of stuff as fast as possible then swirl it all about and it becomes like a cloudy pea soup.

will try and find the book but is from native american's you make a smudge stick burn it nad waft around the house adn your self in a ritual way and then you and teh house are clear of negative vibes/energies

May be good for the office as well then! Perhaps I will have to see if I can get a sage incense stick instead and hope it has the same effect. Thanks GM hope you have had a nice Sunday I got a lie in

Yes thanks will try sage plant although it may die as we are away lot. This is the first lie in I have had in ten years so spent much of it lying there trying to enjoy ist and drifted into sleep to find I was having anxiety dreams about missing planes and deadlines - Must be more stressed than I thought!

Yes it is a long long time since I ahd a lie in but have been known to have a nap in the afternoon instead so cant complain really. Actually would like the odd full nights sleep now and then as well since that has not been possible for ten years either! Youngest dd 5 still gets up at night with nightmares etc.

Ah now there is a nice smell may buy some sage on my way to work tomorrow and bring some rosemary from home. Shall I swish it all about then?

i like to think over issues or plans that are important in the space you are working in and rosemary would be a nice combination for remembrance

the book talks about ley lines and that many are broken or not good energy. It says that there are lines being developed above us
i have read something about that b4 so will have to look

OK have a report due in on Tuesday which I have worked on and not muggle this weekend so will be thinking that it will be done in time and more postivie thoughts paps!

if you are using energy in situations then your aura must be protected and not let to pick up other people unresolved energy. might be part of why you feel tired but u have been away alot too. even going for a little walk in the garden if not raining and imagine your aura brushing through the air and being cleansed.

Yes that is a good idea Paps when I walk the dog tomorrow I will go to the woods and brush up my aura big time. My only trouble is I dont like walking on my own in the half light and get a little sppoked sometimes imaging all sorts but must try to be positive.

You are right I have been away too much and feel the need to reconnect with home which is where most of my energy comes from. I made toad in the hole tonight and feel like comfort food is old fashoined but need to really cook as have also been eating rubbish and rich stuff in hotels which has made me feel drained and ill.

I also think that at work we are both picking up each others tiredness and ill moods which is not helping. So will pick some rosemary in the mroning and get some sage from the shops.

GF try imagining a white light around you as you walk tomorrow morning it will protect you and help to recharge your energy if you feel stressed later in teh day imagine putting it up around you again

tried the white light GM and it worked sometimes so must just practice I guess. Also couldnt find any sage and stopped off at every supermarket on my way in.

Anyway am concentrating on the white light now and got some vanilla scent for my office instead.
