Is "am I living my life as I should" a suitable yes/no question for tarot?

Total newbie to tarot, bought cards and I've just asked that question, using the Mark and Amanda spread. Should I be starting with simpler questions (or is a celtic cross better?!).

I got:
Past
Tower
Wheel of fortune
Devil
Emperor

So would a reasonable interpretation be that in spite of trouble/life changing events in the past, they've eventually resulted in improved finances and stability?

Present
Fool
Hanged man
Star
Magician

Reasonable interpretation? I have the opportunity to take a leap forward after self delaying, which is giving me hope (I am thinking specifically about projects I've thought about for years, but perhaps it's not that) and an element of surprise?

Future
High priestess
Chariot
Moon
Strength

Revelation of powerful secrets? Victory (with what, my self-denied projects?) emotionally deceiving myself but I have the inner strength to deal with it?

(extra cards were sun, empress, judgement and justice)

Tia

I would start with a single card draw- with an idea of looking for clarity or guidance.
I don't find Tarot very useful for yes/no type questions- perhaps a pendulum would suit you better.
Spreads can be complex.

Focus on one card at a time until you come to know the deck better.
