I enjoy hearing about dreams, please share yours if you'd like.

I recognise elements of this one, such as in-laws bickering on holiday, and a recent "agents of shield" plot.

I had a dream about being on a canal boat holiday with the in-laws. They were bickering and complaining about the tow path (which had been paved). They needed to push the boat to set off, but I noticed dd1 and a friend of hers (who must have come with us) sitting at the bottom of a hill with their backs to us.
They didn't want to come, so I left the boat to be with them.

Dd1 had a thin bracelet with a few round beads on it. It contained a trapped entity, a goddess or a demon maybe, and dd1 and her friend had deliberately engineered the not-coming-on-holiday situation to use me as a body for the trapped entity.
I felt betrayed and trapped, and said "what if I refuse?" knowing it was no use.
The entity came out of the bracelet as a swirling blue light and squashed itself through my chest. I felt as though I was suffocating but then I felt absolutely fine, and powerful.

Thanks for sharing yours. I do believe there that are many hidden reasons on the types of dreams we have and I believe they are trying to tell us something.

You really have to dig deep to find any meaning in dreams, especially re-occurring ones... I sometimes use a dream dictionary I have (but doesn't cover everything clearly and it a bit basic!) or you can use search engines, some websites are quite helpful.

I have the same dream a lot about hotels. Sometimes it's the same big (Georgian style) hotel or a more modern hotel abroad in Spain with my family. It's very odd, but I seem to keep having it. I haven't found any explanations yet.

Would be interested to see what everyone else has?

I kept a dream diary when I was in my late teens and found reoccurring images (low flying planes and people holding tight to a mirror), no idea what that meant!

I wonder if your hotel dreams are to do with looking after yourself, as someone else would be making meals, and doing the cleaning

Dreamt I was married to Ben Affleck. We seemed to be genuinely in love but I kept thinking "something's not adding up here, office worker and Hollywood actor".
When I got to the office I realised I'd locked a cat in the car and had to carry it back home.
I don't have a crush on Ben.
