Anyone believe in angels and had proof they exist?

I've been going through a difficult time and whilst randomly scouring the internet, I read that if you call upon the angels and ask for signs that they are there, then you will see proof. Each time I ask, I see something that resonates with me but a part of me still wondering if it's just " coincidence".

We are all earth angels. Some of us know it, some of us don't

OP is asking for proof that they exist. A tad ambitious I suspect.

What makes you believes they look like normal people? I've always been curious as to what they look like

I have a story! I had been going to a counsellor for a while and one day on the way in I saw this bright white feather on the doorstep, and it reminded me of my friend who always said white feathers were a sign fro your guardian angel. Any way I went in had my session and when I was leaving I picked up the feather and got back in my car. I said out loud, I wish I did have an angel.

About five minutes later I come come out of a wooded area and in the sky there is this massive cloud formation in the sky, it looked like the head and bust of an angel with massive wings, they were those fish scale like clouds. It was so life like, I couldn't take my eyes of her. I have no doubt in my mind this was a sign for me and I feel totally blessed. I am not religious in anyway but it made me think!

When my mum died I was tasked with organising her funeral my dad just couldn't do it. I had no idea I was understandably devastated. Dh drove us to the funeral home and when the funeral director asked us what music she might have liked I went blank. My Dh suggested a piece of music she used to love which I agreed and as the director was writing it down my Dh said 'look at this' on his knee was a white feather.

The funeral director got goosebumps and I knew we had made the right chose.

I know a funeral director who keeps a small tin of white feathers in his drawer. When meeting with a client, and a decision is made and the client is having doubts, he'll slyly get a white feather out and release it. Especially if the decision is for an expensive option.

No real harm in it, the client goes away happy and he can get on with sorting out the arrangements.

That is AWFUL, vulnerable people being made to believe they've had a sign. Awful. So dishonest and yes there is harm in it!

Wasn't the case for us, table was huge she was at one end pen in hand Dh at the other. Feather was on his knee.

Irony overload!!!

There's no such thing as angels. So anyone who believes they've had a sign is deluded. But who cares, if it gives them some comfort in a time of stress, knock yourselves out. How you get that false sign isn't that important.

You came away feeling happier because of the feather. Whether it blew in thru the window, or you picked it up unknowingly outside and didn't notice, or the funeral director released it out of a tin, it makes no odds to you.

I love those who come on to a thread to specifically state that there is no such thing as angels etc.

1 What proof do you have that they don't exist and we are are deluded?

2 What business is it of yours what another believes?

3 why do you feel it necessary to come to a thread like this and comment the way you do.

4 you are not a nice person.

Lifecraft · 07/08/2019 22:17
  1. What proof do you have that I haven't got fairies at the bottom of my garden? But if I said I had, you'd think I was deluded.
  1. Read the thread title. OP asking for opinions, if anyone believes in angels and have proof they exist. One of the possible answers to her question is NO.
  1. See 2.
  1. You are fully entitled to hold that opinion, and express it. I believe people are free to express opinions that I don't agree with, and people who don't believe that, and try and shut down contrary opinions, tend not to be very nice people.

I've seen angels. The second one I saw, someone else, also saw on the same evening. I love it when that happens because I get fed up of people doubting me.
