Yes! I'm at week 1, have been going for 22 years so I definitely think you'll love it :) it will be odd being in Peterborough though after being down in Somerset for so long.
Like pp I'd say don't let it overwhelm you. There is so much on offer and reading it all at once can be a bit scary! It's worth downloading the app before you go to get an idea of what's happening - it has the full timetable, all the seminars etc, so you can go through it slowly and think about what you might like to go to. Pace yourself - don't try and do every session in a day or you will burn out super quick! I like to go to the main morning session at 9.15 because it has the same speaker every day building on a subject so it's great. You have a choice of 4 different venues for the main sessions, all slightly different 'vibe' - the Arena is the main one, it's massive but I love it, thousands worshipping together - very powerful. Impact tends to be more 'magazine' style so it will have drama, interviews, daft games etc. It's great fun but also gets really deep into worship (they all have that focus really.) Still quite large but more like 2,000 than 8,000!! Then you have Hungry which is a bit more intimate, it's a lovely venue if you want something smaller. Then there's a new one called Presence, I think again it's a more intimate venue with prayer and worship at its centre. So there's loads of choice which is great so you can find the one that suits you best.
Then after the main morning Bible study they have seminars at 11am, 2pm and 3.30pm, then main evening session at 7ish and then after hours stuff like live music, comedy etc. I often pick just one seminar in a day as more than that just overloads me, sometimes I don't do any as I like to do lots of relaxing / drinking coffee / wine with friends in between the main sessions.
It's big - be prepared for how many people. 20,000 in week 1 this year. But the festival vibe is lovely.
Bring your own loo roll!
Are you in a tent or caravan? Either way bring extra blankets, camping can be chilly at night.
With food there is a supermarket near I think but we always try and bring the week's food with us as it can be a hassle to get off site. There are loads of food vans and a food court but not cheap.
Bring a reusable mug for coffee, you'll need lots of it
We had a mini MN meet up last year which was lovely, so if anyone wants to do that shout!
Hope you all have a fantastic time. Grab it with both hands, it's an incredible week, but go easy on yourself too!!
