I read this prayer on here and it's been bringing me comfort ,I know it said after 3 days publish it . But I am publishing now . Hope it helps other people the way it has me .Oh, most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, fruitful vine, splendour of Heaven.
Blessed Mother of the Son of God;
Immaculate Virgin, assist me in my necessity.
Oh, Star of the sea, help me and show me you are my mother.
Oh, Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth,
I humbly beseech you from the bottom of my heart to succour me in my necessity
(Mention your request here)
There are none that can withstand your power.
Oh, Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee ( repeat 3 times)
Holy Mary, I place this prayer in your hands (3 times).

Amen

Prayers are not a magic formula - they are conversation with our creator God as part of a relationship with Him. God is not a puppet to be manipulated by ritual or formula - so forget this kind of thing and get to know God personally understand why He created us, why He sent his son to die on the cross for us, and if that is important enough to you, give your life to Him and start a relationship. Prayers are a part of that - the amazing opportunity to have a conversation between and creator and created, between saviour and saved, between father and his children - just talk to God.

A good method of prayer is the acronym STOP
Say Sorry for what you have done that is not pleasing to God
Say Thank you for all God does for you
Pray about Others and their needs
And then say Please - pray your requests

But don’t ever follow a formula in the hope that it is somehow magic!
