Help with a gift

I need to get a thank you gift for my neighbours. They haven't been here very long so I don't know them well enough to know likes and dislikes, just pleasantries over the fence. I really need to show my appreciation in addition to the verbal thanks already done.

They are Muslim and have two little girls around 2 and 4. My go to would usually be flowers and wine but not suitable this time.

Any ideas for something to go with flowers? It would be nice to include the children too!

What’s your budget? I’d forget the flowers and give a family cinema or day out pass if you want to include the kids.

That is actually a really great idea! We are rural so it's a real hassle getting to a cinema but I'll put my thinking cap on for something closer to home :)

for the girls maybe a couple of those 'just add water' colouring books? the works sell them. for the adults, maybe a soap and diffuser set?

Flowers and a strawberry plant or raspberry cane for the garden?

Flowers and child friendly chocolates/nice box of biscuits would be an easy alternative to wine and could be enjoyed by the whole family. Just make sure they're vegetarian treats as an easy way to avoid non halal ingredients.
