Happy Easter everyone

Joy and peace. A beautiful mass today with an adult being baptised, confirmed and taking first Communion. I haven't seen that before. A very joyful occasion with a chanting priest and lots of incense.The family came with me (even though they have little interest).

And to you. We only had 6 baptisms last night. The lowest number I've ever known. I felt quite sad about that. But the music was wonderful. Just driven two hours to attend evening prayer in my friends cathedral. It was utterly sublime and the music was the music of the spheres.

We're still in the Easter season! Our parish had 13 baptisms at the Easter vigil. Alleluia He is Risen!
