mother and baby spooky bond!!

i am with my dd all the time, but quite often i go across to my mums for a chat and a cup of tea when dd in bed (my dp stays at home) and every time i go out of door my dp says she wakes up... and when i come back in she always wakes up!! coincidence... or spooky telepathic link??? seems strange to me... anyone else have things like this happen? by the way dd is 7mth old xx

i seem to remember this happening with my ds. i always thought of him when i waqs out, maybe this has something to do with it . are u breastfeeding. apparently hey can smell the milk from a mile off

am sure she just loves her mamma-and feels when u are around and when u leave. babies are amazing. u dont need to breastfeed to have that connection. as u must know.....such a special bond. what are u up to this evening?

i used to wake the second before ds started crying when he was tiny.was never sure exactly why -if he had already made a noise or if i sensed it

yes I've experienced this. I would think its just mother/baby tuning in. I slept right through the earthquake/tremor we had last year (which apparently was very noisy) but have worken when I hear my children lightly cough in their sleep. Also used to wake just before my children woke/started crying when babies.
