My partners friend ( 45) has recently had a breakdown. He is now into very new age concepts . I will keep it very brief as it could go on and on , but he has kept saying to me handling the handler. I'm a Christian I believe in spiritual Warfare and I know what trauma based control is but what is " handling the handler" ?

Difficult to say. depends on who is teaching him.

It could be the same as "aware of the awareness" or "perceiving the perceiver"

In which case he has recognised the egoic thoughts that dominate the behaviours of individuals and is beginning to learn that he can choose to ignore those egoic thoughts.

I don't understand spiritual warfare. The word warfare smacks of conflict. If the mind is in conflict there can be no peace.

Why doesn't she ask him to explain?
