Press Red Conference

I'm going to the Press Red conference tomorrow - I had a sudden thought that some of you may be there!

I do a lot of work in this area from a secular perspective so I'm really looking forward to hearing more from a faith based view.

It looks really interesting. I hope they post the talks later for a wider audience.

Thank you! I’ve not heard of them; I work in the field and I’m a Christian. I must admit to a frisson of relief when I saw the conference was far away, the work does take a toll.

It was very good. It's running again next year in November, and I'll go again. One or two bits which weren't for me but Elaine Storkey was excellent and the panel on porn had an unexpectedly wonderful feminist analysis, naming it as the societal gaslighting of women.

I'm taking quite a few campaign bits back to my church.

This sounds great. I'm a big fan of Elaine Storkey, I hope the talks are online afterwards. Let us know how you get on!
