CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 12/06/2007 09:22

OP posts:
ZipadiSuzy · 12/06/2007 09:23

Sorry, bit of a reject smile there

ZipadiSuzy · 12/06/2007 09:24

CD - Hia hun!

ZipadiSuzy · 12/06/2007 09:24

Damn those spiritual attacks!

ZipadiSuzy · 12/06/2007 09:27

CD - are you sleeping ok? cause when I had the twins I didn't function properly as in day to day tasks (through lack of sleep)

ZipadiSuzy · 12/06/2007 09:33

Have you a friend free for coffee and chat, I always need company whem I'm fed up, otherwise you get in that nasty 'pit'

I'm here if you need me!

DutchOma · 12/06/2007 09:42

I have so many things to be thankful for, not least Bobsmum's minister, so I'm holding as many of you as I can in my prayers. There may be spiritual attack, there's bound to be since Satan doesn't want us praying, but He, listen up all of you, he will not win cause Jesus has the victory already. It's done, so all of you strugglers, you have won already as well and can stick two fingers up to Satan and tell him to get to hell where he belongs.

DutchOma · 12/06/2007 09:43

The asterisks did not work, I thought it would come up in bold.

ZipadiSuzy · 12/06/2007 09:56

Here, Here!

Notquitegrownup · 12/06/2007 10:00

Good morning all. DutchOma - I think that you have to asterisk each word.

Computer playing up at the moment, so very little time to log on. I'm concentrating on the meet up thread when I do.

Aw CD. Have you thought about putting your DDs in separate rooms to go to sleep and then carrying one through, once she's conked out? Do it for a couple of nights when dh is around then you can take them off to different rooms, and really focus on getting each one to snuggle down. Hugs.

Prayers for all - thinking of you MTGAA if you get chance to log in, Hon.

PandaG · 12/06/2007 12:25

Glad you are still feling a bit better Harrisey

mary {{{{{{{{big hug}}}}}}}}}}

CD, praying that you will be lifted up on wings like eagles.

How is DH doing Suz?

Well, I am still in pain, it is worst at the beginning of the day when I am stiff from (lack of) sleep. Is not so bad now, had 2 friends round all morning planning stuff to fundraise for the school centenary, taken my mind off it thanks fo ryour prayers.

Notquitegrownup · 12/06/2007 12:31

Hey Sooz - you mentioned on the last thread that you thought you were approaching a 'sledgehammer' moment, re being a Christian. And I've just realised we didn't respond. Praying for you Hon! It's an exciting time for you, full of new starts. Do you need anything to help you move forward?

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 12/06/2007 15:20

Afternoon - well instead of going out for coffee with a friend this morning, I lay on the sofa & cried. Pathetic, eh!!? Feeling a bit brighter now, good to be out of the house (am at work) & DH has DD3 (other DD's in nursery) so my 1st time of soltary peace & quiet in 6 weeks - very nice, but a little odd. Please keep praying that I could start feeling more & positive again asap. Not liking this attack at all - Appreciating all of your encouragement and support very much - Thank you!

Suzy - I am (sort of) getting enough sleep - not too bad, all 3 DD's go down at 7 - 7.30pm ish and DD3 wakes for feed anywhere between 3 - 5am & then again at 6am. Roughly. Early mornings killing me though.

Think I am going loopy.....

NQGU - I'd rather not get into the habit of settling them in sep. rooms as that can cause poblems when you have people staying etc etc Also, atm we don't have another room to settle them in as there's our bedroom where DD3 sleeps, the study where all our books / computer etc is and DH is in the middle of decorating the spare room .... ... Not berating your suggestion though - just don't think it would work for us. They are usually so good at going to bed, last night was just soooooo awful, hoping we don't have a repeat performance for a good long time .......

Cont to pray for the pain Panda - esp that you would be able to sleep more easily, you poor thing. {{{{{hugs}}}}}

Yes, NQGU - was thinking about Suzy's "Sledgehammer Moment" the other day too ...... So what can we do to help you and encourage you sweetie??

BTW - Suzy - got the cheque this morning - Thank you!

oh cd hun I have so been where you are and some nights still am their bedroom is next to the living room and sometimes ds just constantly comes out making excuses of toilet etc.

There is no easy answer but all I keep telling myself especially atm as I can't leave my two alone for two minutes because they hit, punch, sit on each other, bite is - its a phase. They won't be little forever. I don't mean that to sound trite but. Light evening don't help either do they.

mtgaa hope you are doing ok sweetie.

mary about ds hope you get some answers.

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 12/06/2007 18:54

Thank you hon! xx

Off to bed now (I know, its early, btu I need to)

Feeling alot better this evening since changing my antibiotics yesterday. Tired, but no longer shivery adn yukky!

Thanks ladies

CaptainCaveman · 12/06/2007 20:16

Oh my word - I got 81 % in my last assignment - thats a distinction!!!

Would really appreciate your prayers for ds' appetite, or more specifically that he eats very little and is v v v picky. Fell out with him this evening and he ended up on the naughty stair. He started crying when he saw his pasta shapes and refused to eat them.
Won't eat pasta, rice, veg, mince in any variety. I won't give him pudding if he doesn't eat his meal but usually he ends up with a sandwhich or some cooked meat and mashed potato. He's fine and healthy (nothing on him) but wish I could encourage him to eat more variety.
Me thinks we need a reward chart?

notsofarnow · 12/06/2007 20:22

cc how old is he?

Went through same with dd this time last year and am now going through it with ds but some days i panic about it but most days i think oh so what dd a year on now eats most things - well ther eare certain things she wont eat but she does now eat a lot more.

DutchOma · 12/06/2007 20:25

It works NQGU
CC if you know what he likes, why not give it to him without a fuss. You cannot make a child eat, any more than you can make it sleep and since reading Alfie Kohn (Punished by rewards)I have doubts about reward charts. Eating (or not eating as the case may be) is so often a power struggle which you cannot win. If he's healthy and lean, praise God and don't fight

BedofRosesitAint · 12/06/2007 22:20

Hi, Can anyone join in?

PandaG · 12/06/2007 22:20

Hi Bed, yes all welcome. we are very friendly here

BedofRosesitAint · 12/06/2007 22:29

Okay then. What do I do? Just pray and post my prayers?

BedofRosesitAint · 12/06/2007 22:30

Or do I need to introduce myself etc? Or doesn't it matter really?
