Living Hope Church

Anyone got any experience of this church? In the 10 years I have lived locally they have gone from being a standard church toddler group I happily volunteered at for a few years, to full on evangelism & speaking in tongues!

I personally am an atheist, when I started volunteering they didn't mind, as long as I did my bit.

Now my DD has friends from the church, but they don't seem to like any socialising outside the church.

I have never disrespected their beliefs, but the whole thing seems to be getting more & more cult like :(

I'm not sure what to do

Hopefully, if we all ignore religions they will go away

Is this church part of a wider network or a local one off?

I went to a church like this. It was fine for a while then I got told what to wear and what to do outside of church. They even tried to arrange my baptism for me and my parents put their foot down saying it's my decision not theirs. I eventually left and found a nice church where I felt I could be myself. It was a long time ago now but I think it's had a negative imprint on me particularly thoughts about healing.

Have you spoken to the church about it ? What is the cult like thing you have witnessed?
