Shut yourself in a dark/dimly lit room alone.
Sit comfortably.
Breathe in and out slowly. With each breath OUT picture the breath leaving your body as thick, blackness ? everything negative and bad in your life. With each breath IN picture it as sparkly silvers and golds ? thin and wispy, bringing strength and purity in to replace the bad stuff. Where it is thin and wispy it will be able to slip into even the teeniest gaps of your life.
When you are starting to feel calm and confident with the breathing, picture a big clear bubble growing from your tummy, make it get slightly bigger with each breath in, so that eventually it is surrounding you (you look sort of like Glinda from the Wizard of Oz). When it is whole, picture two little ones bursting off (kinda like baby gremlins being born), and going to your babies and surrounding them. These bubbles will protect you ? they will keep your wispy air in, and will stop anything bad from getting in ? like a forcefield.
Now ? stay sat still and picture roots coming out of you, winding downwards into the earth (they can get through a few floors, tis ok ;) ). Once your roots are in the ground, draw the strength from the earth back into you.
You SHOULD come out of this feeling slightly dazed, but stronger and calmer.
Do the good/bad breathing every night before bed, and is possible, every morning before you get out of bed ? if you have time, do your bubble again each morning and night too.
