Shopping on a Sunday- is this allowed?

I am planning a shopping trip with DD on Sunday and would like another person to come.
But this person has recently joined a church and found a new faith which prohibits Sunday shopping.
Can she come with us if she doesn'y buy anything?

You need to ask her what she is comfortable with. I've not come across any churches that insist on keeping the sabbath in this way but then I don't hang out in conservative wing of the church.

Ask her! She's the only one who will be able to tell you.

My view on this is that keeping the Sabbath day holy means not working, if at all possible.
So I try not to do anything on Sunday's that mean than other people have to work. So I do not go shopping, to the cinema, restaurants, anything commercial like that.

I suppose it depends on how she feels? I'm sure some would say 'absolutely not' and others would say 'well I'm not technically buying anything'
