Ok we have lived in this house 1 year, and feel really comfortable in it, very nice atmosphere (last house was bit creepy).

The last few months though a number of odd things have been happening, some silly little things but i feel like someone is trying to gain my attention or something.

A picture frame fell off a shelf in which it was laid flat, i saw it happen as though it was pushed off. (it was placed securely).

I went in to check on my dd(3 yo) as i was going to bed myself and a large toy had been placed on the foot of the bed upright, she NEVER wakes up once sleeping and neither dh or i had done it.

I woke up by someone stroking my wrist (very odd) and definately happened

Sat watching TV one evening and just 1 lamp started flickering, and going off for 10 secs then coming back on.

Ds's cot mobile on 2 occasions has just gone off on its own, and played a full tune almost, once at about 3am and another time i heard (and dh did) over the baby monitor.

I definately think either A) i am cracking up or B) there is someine trying to get my attention.

What do you think?

I think most of the things are explainable (is there such a word), but ........!

How old is your house?

pucca · 19/04/2007 21:20

I think it was built about 1900, it dead weird though.

This has all happened over the course of 2 months or so, like one thing after another.

Do you feel scared in the house at all?

What's the atmosphere like?

Beauregard · 19/04/2007 21:26

Has a relative died recently?

pucca · 19/04/2007 21:29

The atmosphere is nice, feel very comfortable.

Had quite a few relatives die recently, 5 in the past 18 mths.

Thanks everyone.

The person i am thinking of most is my nans sister, whom she was really close to, and since she died i have got extremely close to my nan, like best friends.

If the atmosphere is nice then dont worry who ever it is means no harm. Their just letting you know that they are around.

fransmom · 19/04/2007 22:36

starfairy is right. someone is definitely trying to tell you that they are ok and that you don't need to worry about them. i'm not sure who is is sorry but it's most definitely (B)!

pucca · 19/04/2007 22:38

Ooh

No seriously though, it does feel like that, just seems that too many things have happened in a short space of time, i discussed it with my nan last night so maybe if it is her sister it will stop now as i have passed the "message" on.

and then

if itis you nan's sister, would you still like her to visit you?

pucca · 19/04/2007 22:51

FM....Dunno actually, don't feel spooked but didnt appreciate my brand new picture frame being smashed

Ignore it if you want to. Don't if you don't.

It really is that simple.
