The difference between your best and your worst? The perception of others. Block out the noise and you’ll stay on track.”
–Phil Hellmuth

A friend has got it plastered everywhere as part of his profile message. Trying to figure out what it really means I'm being really slow today!

I've had a few episodes of falling out with said friend and wonder if the statement about noise is directed at me....

Many thanks!

Other people will perceive you in different ways, whether that be good or bad. Don't worry too much about what others think of you and carry on focusing on your goals?

It's one if those awful meaningless phrases that excuses a whole heap of bad behaviour. Another persons perception isn't the only thing that will determine if you're being awful or great.
