Anyone involved in Unitarian Sunday club/school?

I've been volunteered appointed as our church's Sunday club committee chair. We need to do a lot of work around establishing what we are actually offering to the congregation (currently feels like babysitting and nothing more) but we have an excellent coming of age programme for interested children age 11-13. Something I'm keen to begin is a junior coming of age, maybe 8-9 year olds, and either have the older "graduates" working with the younger children on this, or creating a third, follow on programme to keep them engaged (they have identified this gap for themselves).

A few of the other Sunday club volunteers are interested in this area too (minister also v supportive) so I'd like to put together an outline to start the ball rolling. If anyone could share ideas, it would be wonderful. Thanks.

We only have four children in total, from two families, aged 7 and 10, so my experience probably isn't much use.

That sounds blissful Wink ours range from about 4 to 12 and we never know who is going to be there. We often have visitors (city centre church) so it's very unpredictable.
