Has anyone been watching this on BBC2?
Just wondering what your thoughts were. I was pleased to see that the more spiritual side of Islam was exposed for a change.

I have really enjoyed watching this (as I did the other series). I am a christian and I felt it gave me a much greater ieda of what it's like to be a muslim - also of the different strands of Islam with Aisha (sp??) being so at odds wiith the way in which the others expressed their worship. That is so similar to different strands within christianity. (Drives me mad sometimes!)

It was nice to see that she had a sense of reconciliation with the retreat leaders before she left, and with Pom deciding to become a Muslim i think that brought home the similaries and commonality, rather than the differences.

when is it on? i seem to keep missing it

I also enjoyed the other series. I don't know enough about other religions, is a good insight.

FM - The last episode has been aired but the repeat can be seen on digi box.

ChaCha did you feel it was an accurate / fair representation of Islamic belief and practice? I know so little about Islam really.
