Topz devotions for kids

I'm thinking of getting my 6yo a subscription for this. Has anyone used them with their kids before? Are they any good?

Topz devotions

We used these with our dc when they were younger. They liked them though did grow out of them by 10 or so and were ready for the young people's one. There are also a load of topz books - stories and diaries types of things which they really liked, especially ds.
Can't remember how old they were when we started but think it might have been around 7.
