Not long moved to Alloa from Bristol. At Mass every one stands/sits/kneels at different times England. The Mass is slightly different too. Can anyone tell me why and point me to a Scottish version of the Sunday Missal. Thanks

What about a Dog walk sometime next week then gscrym and purplemonkeydishwasher?
I have been to Calendar park once and I`m sure I could locate it again, or perhaps Gartmorn Damn (not sure if that is spelt right)? Happy to go else where if you prefere but would need a decent address to type into my satnav thingy (I can get lost just about anywhere).

i'm up for it! thursday or friday are good for me. I'm afraid that I don't drive though so it'd have to be local for me! Calander park is good.
I may or may not bring my dog though. seriously he's a jerk. he loves to play but is very rough. he'd prbably shame me!

gscrym · 09/03/2007 14:34

I'd do it aswell. I can only apologise in advance for Muttleys behaviour, should she choose to continue acting like a mardy teenager. Friday would be better for me as I've got the dentist on Thursday.

That of course all depends if I get shot of this hellish rash I have at the moment.

figleaf · 09/03/2007 15:35

Lets try for Friday then. What about 10.30 in the car park? I hope there is only one car park (tell me if I'm wrong).

there's 2. one as you come in and one over by the teashop and gallery. the one as you come in is easier!

gscrym · 09/03/2007 15:40

I can do that.

purplemonkeydishwasher · 09/03/2007 15:50

oooh. i'm nervous now! I'm really shy in RL so this is a BIG step for me!

gscrym · 09/03/2007 15:57

I'll be the scruffy one with the equally scruffy 4 year old and dog shouting 'will you come back here. Right get back in the car' to either the dogf or m'lovely son.

figleaf · 09/03/2007 17:13

Ill be the slightly overweight English one in a silver Honder FRV with an excited brown dog. Im normally a bit shy too purplemonkeydishwasher but I havent had girly coffee and chats since we moved to Scotland in November. Will the tea shop be open do you think ? It was a rainy Saturday afternoon the only other time Ive been there and the shutters were down.

yeah the teashop will be open. not sure what to do with the dogs though! and they aren't the friendliest there! (I used to work in the gallery next door)
In a perfect world it'll be nice and warm out and we can bring a flask and sit in the sun!

purplemonkeydishwasher · 09/03/2007 18:48

oh and I'll be the tall brunette pushing the black bugaboo trying not to swear at my black dog.

figleaf · 09/03/2007 20:08

Shall we bring a flask then to be on the safe side? (have to nip off now,not sure if I`ll be back on MN tonight but will come back tomorrow).
