Is anyone else a believer? i.e. I'm sure it helped me throughout labour to envisage my cervix relaxing, and body doing it's stuff.
I'm curently doing it like mad as we've instructed solicitors on buying our first home (again!). (So if anyone would like to throw a positive thought my way, feel free ).

But seriously, has anyone else had good experiences of this? Or just believe it can be done

A friend of mine used visualisation and meditation during labour - had a home birth on Christmas morning then went on to cook christmas dinner for all the family and visitors.
I ended up with a c/s though....

I think you can do there is a woman in America wh o charges women to be taught positive thought to increase bust sizes along with some exercise and she reckons she has had good results

I believe
Its like that saying.. where there is a will there is a way
and it
beats negative thought and no visualisation any day

I did it in labour with my third and went in the shower and imagined I was on a beach with huge waves and waiting for the next one and it really worked. Home birth no medication lovely and very relaxing. DD was born on the same day as my ds three years apart adn had a party in the afternoon for 8 little three year olds the midwives thought I was mad but I managed.
