Are you very superstitious?

I know I am and sometimes it gets out of hand. When I see a magpie I spit and bow and black cats are good luck but then it gets into other things. Every time my kids do a school play someone leaves my life and now theya re coming up to another one and I am getting anxious about what will happen. I mean not walking under ladders is one thing but I can get a bit compulsive about is all. Is anyone else like this?

glitterfairy - have stinky flu at the moment so am not up to much (not even thinking straight) at the moment. I've made myself an amethyst bracelet and a rose quartz one so far. I'd be happy to 'take commissions' from anyone who wants one but will come back and discuss it in a couple of days when I'm not having to pop Nurofen any more!!

Just came on MN for 5 mins to cheer myself up and thought I'd post to show I've noticed your message.

Thanks wk hope your flu gets better soon yuk yuk! Am sending you a glittery flu draught which tastes of your favourite alcaholic drink to dispel all problems instantly!

Am back on for 5 mins and feeling a touch better - thanks for that vodka&pepsi flu draught!!!

About the bracelets - obviously I'd need enough to cover the cost but I wouldn't want to do it for profit, so there shouldn't be any problem with me starting a new thread about them, its not advertising is it?

glitterfairy · 05/05/2004 10:27

Go wk glad you are better. Will speak on new thread

sometimes i just like to rebel against it all and intentionally walk under a ladder, i think i have a really masochistic tendency!!

papillon · 08/05/2004 19:20

I walk under scaffolding but not big on under ladder walking - have done it though without too much worrying!
