OP posts:
glitterfairy · 11/05/2004 09:07

Back again quickly before I leave sob. No melsy quite right stress not allowed in the house of the spirits. Am gently calmed by my tea and would like a healing rieki now please.

melsy · 11/05/2004 09:10

That reiki should work wonders. You can come here in spirit through the day.

sibble · 11/05/2004 20:31

Glitterfairy - A bit late in the day but one reiki treatment coming up....We really are twins btw - i love speaking at conferences, I once spoke at the Royal Albert Hall, called up impromptu and was on a high for days after...
oh, and on the tea front - I'll have a chamomile please.
The mud wrap sounds great I would so love to be pampered, foot massage, head massage, lovely long swim and then to sit on teh deck in the sun, take in the view and sip on a tall glass of iced water....
i am truly there now

melsy · 11/05/2004 20:34

Hi sibble hows you and bump?? , I think Ill have a chamomile to right now. are we watching the sun set behind the trees whilst siting in a comfy cushioned reclining wood chairs, sipping our tea. AAAAHHHHHH. NICE !!! I lov this deck.

glitterfairy · 11/05/2004 21:32

Hi all am back and the day was not as bad as I thought so obviously the healing reiki worked wonders. Everyone said I looked really well adn happy which also makes you feel good. Thanks everyone. Am off to Paris tomorrow with dh hurrah can have a well earned rest!

papillon · 12/05/2004 08:13

Glitterfairy - glad you received lots of postive affirmations which heightened the Reiki glow within!

Have a wonderful time in Paris (did you get engaged there - is this an anniversary trip down memory lane?)

Look forward to the Parisian additions to our virtual space when you return!!

OP posts:
glitterfairy · 12/05/2004 09:37

yes we got engaged there and said whatever happens in our relationship we will meet again in May under the eiffel tower in ten years. Well it is now 15 years so we said enough adn are going adn leaving the kids and meeting under the eiffel tower! very romantic! xxx

sibble · 12/05/2004 20:38

oh how romantic - have a fantastic time

melsy · 13/05/2004 13:04

That is a very romantic Glitterfairy. Hope you are having the most enchanting time. Wonder what you will bring back here for the house??

I need some nurturing and pampering today, going to have some treaments to help balance me and calm me ; massage all over , reiki , a bath and some meditation. Then I will go and have a sleep in my dream room. Soft mattress cover on a hard base so its kinda like sleeping on clouds but well supported. Some music is playing that is very ethereal and dreamy and I feel cool and calm as I drift off with a soft breeze making the curtains flow. The sun comes in enough to bring a lovely sun glow to the room , yet it is dark enough for rest.

papillon · 13/05/2004 14:21

Hope the rest and treatment are working their spells upon you Melsy!

I have come in here this afternoon to hide..

was not hardly out the door and into the real world before when a little old lady with gold bits in her teeth, gold earrings and a bun accosted me. After abit of a diatribe it turned out she wanted to read my palm or dd... probably mine.
My German is not fabulous as she surely could tell but that wasn´t her wavelength nor interest. I said no thanks (I had my palm read about 1.5 years ago so did not need another right there and then)
Then I pretty sure she started asking for money - she was better dressed than me but I think she was under the spell of the soup shop next to our house and wanted some from their cauldron. That or she also wanted money for her kids (fully grown I am sure - probably the grandkids in that case)
Boy did she start muttering after I said no.. I hope she wasn´t putting a Gypsy hex on me She would not stop going on... eeekkk
my purse was in my bag ... dd in the sling... glass bottles for recycling.. on a mission and not a good customer really

I swept (surreptitiously) of course any bad wind that she might have sending us... away (i hope)

So have come to hide and get rid of any potential curses

OP posts:
wobblyknicks · 13/05/2004 14:24

paps - sounds very odd!!! Am sure that if she was relly able to cast curses, she'd be making enough money not to have to beg!!!

melsy · 13/05/2004 17:07

ooh dear odd women , send her off to kooky land from hence she came. braaaghghghhg makes me shiver. come in to the chill out room for a peacful interlude.

sibble · 13/05/2004 20:14

sending good vibes too, what a horrible experience for you.
Well I have woken very chilled this morning so am off for a long walk in teh woods to clear the cobwebs, then will attempt a yoga class when I get back and be just in time for a lovely lunch on the deck and hopefully a chat with however is there.

Melsy hope you are happy chilling.

melsy · 17/05/2004 09:45

Seems there have been very few visitors here for a few days. I m coming in to help rechage my batteries. I think some Yoga will do me good to centre and stretch. Then I think a wak in the woods to feel the energy of the earth before popping back for a lovely salad on the deck and a pop in the swimming pool, before an afternoon of massage and relaxing thoughtful chat in the hot tub or may be the chill out room.

papillon · 17/05/2004 09:57

Interested in finding out what a wak in the woods is Melsy!!

Women and Karma perhaps ??

Witch and angel kulture

Today I come to explore the gardens to see how everything is growing. Then I want to take a class on crystals to help Wobblyknicks and myself create my bracelet!

OP posts:
wobblyknicks · 17/05/2004 09:59

Thanks paps!!! Is there a class running on how to 'centre' yourself so you're only running one life instead of 6 like I am at the moment?

melsy · 17/05/2004 10:04

I like women and Karma. Yes a centreing class would be good. Is that best with aligning chakras???

melsy · 17/05/2004 10:05

We can talk about crytals and stones on the thread I started. We can work out which one is the best for each of us.

wobblyknicks · 17/05/2004 10:05

Its not just my chakras that need aligning - its my whole blinking life!!!

papillon · 17/05/2004 10:06

Sounds like you need the wak in the woods with Melsy.. probably the women and karma workshop

Go down the wooded path.. turn right at the big oak tree and after about 5 minutes you will come to a little stream. Sit next to the stream and just listen to the water running by. Other thoughts are not allowed.

(to duplicate this at home turn on the tap, boil the jug and aim a fan at a flimsy curtain )

then walk along the stream till you reach the tussock garden that Sibble and I planted... lie amongst the tussocks and listen to them swishing in the breeze. Listen only to the swishing sound and do not be distracted.

wobblyknicks · 17/05/2004 10:10
