Emigrating with children

Just finished reading "grass is greener". We too are hoping to move next year to Canada due to dh job offer. Hoping grass is bit greener as not looking forward to next 20 years here! Has anybody else been there/done that?? Would love to hear from anybody been to Canada, just south Calgary. We have dd1 who is 2.5yr and dd2 9mths.

I'm from Canada, but not that particular bit. (And I went the other way, and now live in London)

You might get more responses if you posted in Living Overseas, rather than Philosophy etc?
