whats it really about then?

should explain why i am asking really shouldn't i?!

i grew up with my mum loosly dabbling in al kinds of different 'religions' for want of a better word (shamanism, meditation, ashtanga yoga, tarot...) but i found my pthen peace in a christian setting. Slight;y out of place as some of the things i believed in were wrong according to the bible. Stayed in the chuirch for a while while i had my head bashed around with and left because of an incident i don';t want to go into.

Now i have had time to think about things i am 'on a path of rediscovery' if you like and am confused now as to what halloween is! what it really is i mean.
