Silly question for Jewish mumsnetters

Last night I went to an interfaith event and we played a Diversity game. We had to answer questions on each other's religion. The question I was given was "Between what times do Jews celebrate the Sathbath?" The answer I gave was between sunset on Friday and sunset on Saturday. The Jews told me that my answer was really close, but infact its half an hour before sunset on Friday and half an hour after sunset on Saturday. Anyway my silly question is

What do orthodox jews do about celebrating the Sathbath if they are inside the Artic circle somewhere like Finland or Sweden where in winter is dark all the time and in summer its light all the time?

RT - it is sundown on Friday until nightfall on Saturday, so roughly 25 hours. If the sun doesn't set where you are you take the timings of the nearest community where it does.

Hope this is helpful
