This was the remit-
Sunday worship, choral matins using the book of Common Prayer. New JAZZ setting composed by Roderic Williams, sung by the schola cantorum of Oxford and accompanied by Chris Hill Trio.
Director of music James Burton: organist Robert Houssart.

Now, I've googled away and although she heard it on the BBC radio(?) I just cannot find a recording to buy.

Any help would be most welcome as she has been asking for over a year....

I think I have tracked down what it was but can't find a recording of it. You may be able to contact the BBC with the information and they may know whether it is available to buy somewhere.

Anyway, I think it is BBC radio three. Go to the BBC website and type in Choral Evensong in the search area. Then choose Episodes from the menu above the photo of the choir boy. You need 13th April 2008. The service was called the Oxford Blues Service. Hope that helps to track it down.

Esmum07 Thank you. So it was evensong that I needed to look for...
And you've found a date 13th April 2008.
Unfortunately it seems to end with the BBC.

There is another one but I don't have this written down.

Kings Singers doing the Te Deum?

Marking place, I may be able to help tomorrow when in work.

DuelingFanjo · 09/12/2014 11:13

I am doing some investigations for you ...

Lambstales · 09/12/2014 12:58

Thats very kind Dueling, I've looked at their site and can't find it on any obvious albums. It's not listed in the sheet music but then I wouldn't expect it to be. DM must have heard it on the radio, so yet again it's probably in the hands of the Beeb maybe Confused
