Hi all,

I am really feeling that God is leading me to work with troubled young people in our area.

I dont have any counselling skills but am really keen to learn.

However, I am a stay at home mum with 3 dd's aged 4,3 and 12 weeks. I dont plan to do the course until after christmas, just looking at the moment. I would really like to fit this course around my girls, so pref a home study.

Do you know of any?

Also can you recommend any good reading material to get me going?

Thanx heaps and God Bless!

Hi there, my dh and I have also been looking into doing counselling courses and this organisation came highly recommended from a friend of ours who is a very experienced Christian Counsellor about to open a retreat and healing centre for her church. My dh is a GP and says that this looks very good clinically as well.
Very exciting to hear about what you want to do, especially with little kids. I have just gone back to college - off to Bible College with 3 kids aged 6, 4 and 2, and I am loving it. All the best.

harrisey,

Thank you so much for the link. Glad to hear that your course is going well. BTW, How do you find coping with the course and looking after you LO's?
