Anyone used a medium?

I am a lifelong agnostic but wonder whether anyone has had a good experience with a medium / could recommend one? Have to run pick up DS2 from school but will have a look see if ayone has any thoughts. Maybe have just gone mad. thanks anyhow.

yes i have seen a few, (although i am a believer i am also a realist, and realise the few that are blessed with thia gift are out numbered by the ones who 'fake' it and i wont see the same one twice incase they remember me and so can remember what they said last time!!!) The ones i have seen have been very accurate. off course somethings they say could have meaning to anyone, but then other things you know are meant just for you. if you see one i would advise you either take a pen and paper or a tape recorder, because no matter how hard ou try, you will forget everything!!

possibly go to local spiritualist church, the number might be in local thompson's (sp.?) under places of worship / churches. phone them ,see when they have their mediums there and ask if they can recommend a good local medium. hth x

Local spiritualist church is probably the safest way. Beware of psychic fairs and the like. You can speak to the minister / superintendant of the church and they will usually recommend someone. Never, never use a ouija board.

Well, I was really sceptical but went with a friend. I had recently been told I was unable to have children by a specialist. The 'spiritualist' told me I would have 5 pregnancies but I would only have 3 of the babies. I thought utter rubbish, I can't have them. I also don;t belive in abortion so would never have terminated, it didn;t occur to me that I would miscarry. I have 3 lovely children and have suffered 2 painful miscarriages. Could be coincidence but a bloody good one if you ask me. Too scared to ever go again though just incase.

Thanks fransmom and 3littlefrogs, I will make some enquiries. I suppose I was also hoping to hear that someone had tried this and found some comfort from it / felt they had communicated with someone they had lost, but maybe it is a fairly fringe activity...

i have seen mediums at churches and have been comforted as my mom and my grandad "came through" and the messages that were passed on to me really helped. and went to see tony stockwell last night - he was really good.

have always known that neither of my parents would be at my wedding and hey presto my mom died 7years ago but i know she will be there in spirit. and my dad, well he got remarried after2years and i haven't seen him for about 4years!

i have been told that i should be doing the medium's job and would be doing it in the future, just really a case of as and when i think
