I left a thread on here recently about my marraige and how dh was becoming quite hard hearted and aggressive.and i thought i might need to move out.
they went to New Wine &since being back its like i am living with someone different :-D
i can not believe how just being there for one week has changed the future of our marraige. I hope it stays like this.

Has your DH spoken about things at all, what caused his change in attitude?

Yes some stuff to do with his family not giving him opportunities as growing up. i won't go into full detail but really pleased he is working through things now. :-)

It is good, though, that you know where his vulnerabilities may be as well, so you know where to be extra sensitive.

I think past hurts can affect people in lots of ways - we may not necessarily know all the reasons for particular behaviour (even our own).

It is fantastic he has been able to address things, put the past behind him and have a fresh start.

Just looked at your previous thread and I would say make sure you keep safe though.

Get support if you need it and if you think his aggression ever seems to be out of control again (hitting furniture, being verbally aggressive.) I know you said he has never been violent towards you or your children but you shouldn't have to live in fear of this.

I do believe people can change, but you must be safe. You can hope for the best and I would recommend this. However if he and you need more support with him, do not hide away, you need to get support.

I would need longer than a week to be convinced of a change.

I also don't think agressive partners will change.

Will see how things go. Been quite relaxed after a week of being back and is saying he is going to start going to eve services again. I really hope it is a changefor the better.
