Can someone explain what the religious beliefs is of scientologists

I have absolutely no idea yet we are always hearing that celebrities are turning to scientology. What is it exactly?

The word Scientology literally means "the study of truth." It comes from the Latin word "scio" meaning "knowing in the fullest sense of the word" and the Greek word "logos" meaning "study of."

My mother got stopped for one of their personality tests once. At the end, she commented "I can see I have a lot in common with you", to the delight of the scientologist with the clipboard, until she added "I'm in the book-selling business too".
