Anyone done/ doing the Alpha Course?

I've just finished my first alpha course and I was wondering if anyone else wanted to talk over the points that were raised/ different opinions/ where you feel you are with your faith?

I am starting the course next month so although I can't help you yet I'd love to know how you got on. Interesting? Worth going?
I am a bit nervous about voicing opinions which may not agree with the majority as I know I can be a little outspoken sometimes...... But I am looking forward to it.

Having helped run an Alpha course, Bettythree I would say please do voice your outspoken opinions that don't appear to agree with the majority. That way discussions get going. You will probably find that others have the same, or similar thoughts, but are too shy to say. You will make the course more lively and interesting and get far more out of it, I feel sure. Enjoy! I did one year's ago and enjoyed it. Is it still the videos of the vicar with the impossibly beautiful congregation.

I've just finished my first Alpha too. Thoroughly enjoyed it and have made some firm friends. I'm going to miss Wednesday nights.
