Hi. I have recently started to meditate but don't know if I am doing it correctly. This is what I do - I have a meditation room, I light my 3 candles, light my incence, put relaxing music on then sit in a comfortable upright chair then concentrate on my breathing. I do find it difficult to breathe properly, I tend to breathe from the chest and not the stomach.
Although my mind wanders to other things, i.e, the kids barging in, the baby waking etc etc, I do sometimes when really relaxed see bright lights and feel warmth around me, but last night I was meditating and I felt something really cold around my legs, it was weird. Sometimes meditating freaks me out a bit. Interested to know anyone elses's experiences of meditation and how to do it correctly.
