Law of attraction experts...

My cat went out last Sunday and hasn't come back.

After an initial panic, distributing leaflets, talking to neighbours, etc. I have decided to try law of attraction. I'm acting 'as if' he is still here. I've continued to put food down for him. I changed his bed yesterday and every now and again I stick my head out of the door and call him. I've also stopped telling people he is 'missing'.

Can anyone suggest anything else?

Has anyone else done this and succeeded?

Do you live in or near a road with 'crescent' in the name?

Denial as a strategy to recover a lost pet. How odd. Wonder if it will work when I next loose my phone or keys.

Don't give up on your cat ! I haven't got advice on the laws of attraction, but just a hopeful story.

Mine went missing for 4 days last week - he usually doesn't go out of the garden and the longest he was usually out was a couple of hours.

After the first day, I rang all the Vets and local pet rescue centres / cat clubs who put pics on their websites - but there was no sign of him.

My kids were really positive and thought he would come back - but I had a really bad feeling and kept secretly crying (I am pregnant and emotional though).
Then after 4 days he strolled back at 4.30am...looking really well.

Is your cat male or female ? How old is he ? Has he/she been neutered ?

The advice I got from people was that cats do go missing - especially this time of year, when they are in season. I heard stories of cats that had gone missing for days and even weeks and still come back.

Make sure its well publicised and keep an eye out too. I know how you must feel - but your cat will probably come home - it may just be on a little adventure.

I hope you get your cat back, but the law of attraction doesn't and can't work I'm afraid. It's just something someone made up.

I think jaykay is right though. Cats do go missing and reappear.

It's spring! and cat's love spring! if he's not neutred he may go off looking for a female... have you asked neighbour's to check shed's etc... law of attraction may work if you believe in it...it's only the none believer's it dont work for! hope your cat has returned by now op.
