Can't remember mouses do you go to church at all? You wlll find there that prayer is spoken out loud, although some churches also give time for quiet prayer and some (like the Quakers) do not speak very much at all. In your own time you can do either.

All questions lie this could be answered in church and especially in a church that organises small groups as well as Sunday services.

not yet dutchoma I will be going, im looking to take my children too and have been told some have restrictions?

Some churches have children's activities while the main service is on - you might find your children want to stay with you though the first few times you go, in which case it might be a good idea to take some snacks/books/toys etc to keep them occupied. I still take these for mine, and they've been going to church for years!
